Separative’s team is happy to be a prize-winner of the competition I-Lab 2016 for its project of High Resolution Flash column intended for research laboratories in medicinal chemistry, using its technology of multicapillary chromatography.

Organized by the Ministry of Research to foster the new business start-up of innovative technologies, this national competition takes place in three stages: an application on file, a local preselection on the basis of a presentation (realized by Ernst and Young), then a national selection by one experts’ jury. 56 start-up were awarded among 347 applications. The assigned grants can reach 450 000 € for the most promising projects and answering one of the 10 big societal challenges defined by the strategic schedule France-Europe 2020.

Held in the Top 10 of the awarded, Separative obtained subsidies of 300 000 € to complete the development of its innovative and extremely successful multicapillary chromatography column.

After the prototypage of a first standard column, the objective is to propose a range of semi–preparatives and preparatives columns for the purification of samples for the Pharmacy in world.
We would like to warmly thank all our supports in this wonderful venture.

IFPEN: a new partnership is launched

IFPEN: Separative is proud to announce the signing of a two-level partnership agreement with IFPEN, the international expert in chemical processes. This is a recognition of its expertise in the field of chromatography. First, Separative will welcome an expert materials technician from IFPEN into its scientific team for 18 months starting in September 2015. They…

Axel’One, integration into the development platform

Axel’One: from the moment it was created, Separative jointed the development platform, where it found the best possible environment to support its launch In January 2014, François Parmentier received confirmation that Separative would have a laboratory and an office at Axel’One, the development platform for innovative processes supported by French chemistry and environment cluster Axelera,…

Axel’One: Gérard Collomb, Jean-Louis Gagnaire

Axel’One Gérard Collomb and other personnalities were to visit the freshly built platform with over 1.000m² of laboratories and offices dedicated to collaborative projects in the field of chemistry. For this event, the Axel’One team invited companies to present their know-how and technologies, including Separative, naturally, which should move to the new building during the…

Technology: multicapillary chromatography

Separative offers a breakthrough technology for preparative chromatography. HPLC is the most efficient and versatile molecule separation process to date. Since the mid-1970s, many scientists have tried to use capillaries to reduce operating pressure, with a potential reduction estimated at a factor of 15 to 30 times less. The results were limited because the channels…
